These are extremely classy and comfortable shoes. The heel is approximately 2.5". I purchased a size 10M (B) in both the black and brown.
I like the contrasting texture of the shoes. The base is a deep rich suede with a patent leather criss-cross along the front opened toe.
The heel is a wedge in patent leather with a heel cape also in patent leather.
The patent leather has bits of metalic sparkles that catch the light, and gives these shoes an extra special glow.
The bottom of the shoes has a rigid rubber sole. The shoes have an adjustable strap with a metal buckle.
If you tend to have wider feet near the toe area, you might want to consider getting a wider shoe than you would normally wear.
I am so thrilled with these shoes, that I ordered them in the grey and burgundy.

The wedges give me a lift yet feel stable. I don't like peep toes that are too open or too wide; these are not. I like the contrast in textures, suede and smooth leather. I ordered my usual size and they are fine, although I could probably have worn them either 1/2 size longer or one size wider just as well.
