Comfy cool boots!, November 15, 2010 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Sebago Women's Saranac Lace Boot (Apparel) I love these boots, right out of the box I wore them all day and my feet felt great. This highly unusual because my feet are a little wide and I have a bunion. Most shoes hurt my feet either as I'm wearing them or when I take them off (my feet cramp up... very painful). They look great with leggings, jeans and long skirts. They are waterproof too! I wear an 8 1/2 wide, but I got these in 9 med and they fit like a charm.

Cool Boots 2, November 5, 2010 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Sebago Women's Saranac Lace Boot (Apparel) These boots are well made ,I thought they were a little big but I tried them on with a boot sock and they fit much better I still had a little wiggle room for my toes,I hate to have a shoe that fits just right because at times I feel like they're ok and then they feel to small so I would say they are true to size.Boots tend to run a bit bigger I think, also they are narrow but I'm sure the leather will give so I decided to keep them.They go well with jeggings,and the new leggings that are out now, as well as your regular Jeans.
Sept 2011,I got the black ones and I really like these the review above is for the brown ones they're holding up pretty well the only problem was the leather that wraps the heel is peeling it did that a couple of months into wearing them hopefully this won't happen to the black ones,I sprayed the brown ones with protectant I won't do it to these.I would still recommend the product it is true to size and the shoes are waterproof.

I could tell they were well made and were extremely comfortable. However, I ordered an 8 1/2 because I wear an 8 1/2 sneaker with socks (8 for dress shoes). Even with socks these slipped because they were about 1/2 size too big. Also, they do not really look like combat boots because of the seam that goes around the top of the toe - that makes them look more like men's shoes. I would have kept them if they had fit though.
