I bought them to keep at work to wear for my daily 30 minute lunch walk. They seem to run pretty much to size. I wear 7-1/2 to 8 and I ordered the 8s and they fit fine. The soles are pretty awesome and grip very well if there's a bit of cement or asphalt. I did find the soles just slightly slippery on packed down snow and ice so I wore them with slip-on studs . But that's just me, I want to walk fast without worrying about it - I am very careful when it comes to slippery surfaces and there's a lot of that in Alaska! These boots would be absolutely perfect for just running around in. Easy to slip on; very comfortable and they kept my feet toasty. I am even thinking of perhaps buying another pair to keep at home.

I live halfway-down a very steep street, so I want some boots that will keep me vertical. I tried these boots out in the rain today, and while they're great on the type of pavement that has a bit of texture and grit, they were horribly slippery (worse than my regular boots) on spots of pavement covered with wet leaves as well as on smooth pavement. I suspect these will work well in fresh, powdery snow and slush, but I think I'll still need to wear Yak Trax on ice and tightly packed snow. They're quite comfortable and seem true to size, but might be too wide if you have narrow feet. My feet are very wide (E) and they fit me; they're just a bit tight across the front of the right foot.

This boot is warm, waterproof, and with this awful winter I have been living in this boot every day. I have a narrow heel and hard to fit foot, but this boot fit from the moment I put it on!!! Love this boot!!!
