Has a highly cushioned sole at the ball of the foot. It was the wrong color for my wedding dress so I had to send it back, but it was tough to do. The dark red is not dark red. It is more of a bordeaux or wine color. Does NOT look like the picture. It was perfect so I sad to send back. I wanted something different for a shoe rather than the standard ivory and this looked like an excellent contender. Our colors are deep red and chocolate so it was a no go. :(

I plan on wearing them for my wedding in October. They have a nicely padded footbed, so they are comfortable even though the heels are pretty steep. They are a little stiff right out of the box, but break in nicely with a little wear. The dark red looks fantastic and the jewel detail gives these shoes a special twist. Can't wait to show them off!
